Brush Pickup

Lisle Township Road District provides a brush pickup service to it’s residents. Brush pickup occurs 6 times a year, once a month, May to October. Below are the requirements for brush pickup:

  • Needs to be curbside (not in street) by 6:30 a.m.
  • Branches are to be cut to 4 feet
  • Branch diameter needs to be 4 inches or less
  • Bundles must be tied with twine or string (no wire or plastic)
  • Bundles up to 25 lbs. only

May 6 (Monday)
June 3 (Monday)
July 1 (Monday)
August 5 (Monday)
September 3 (Tuesday)
October 7 (Monday)

Leaf Pickup

In addition to brush pickup, leaf pickup is available between the middle of October to Thanksgiving. For exact start dates, please check the fall newsletter. Requirements for leaf pickup are:

  • Rake leaves onto the parkway between the sidewalk and the curb, or between the ditch line and the edge of the road.
  • Keep the streets free and clear of the leaves
  • Do not mix branches or other yard waste with leaf piles
  • Do not place leaf piles behind parked cars
  • Do not allow leaves to clog ditches or storm drains
  • Do not put leaves in bags

Leaf pickup for the 2023 fall season starts Monday October 16th. Monday November 20th before 6:30AM is the last time to put leaves in the parkway.
